Norstone is online only. We don't run a physical showroom, which keeps our overheads low and our prices sharper for you. Samples are available through the Samples page and ship Australia-wide, so you can see and feel the product in your own space, under your own light, against your own materials. Sample cost is redeemable against your order.

Installing traditional stacked stone veneer is significantly labour intensive. Because Rock Panels are a modular panel system, the installed cost can be as low as half to a third of the cost of a traditional stacked stone veneer wall.

Norstone strives to keep sufficient inventory to meet customer needs. Contact us via the enquiry form to check price and availability before placing an order. Custom or special order sizes require 12–30 weeks manufacturing and shipping lead time.

Measure each area to be covered and allow 10% extra for wastage. If outside corners are required, measure the height of all outside corners and contact us to ensure you order the correct mix of flat panels and corner units.

Norstone products are installed using polymer-modified tile thinset adhesive over any prepared cementitious surface such as cement board, brick, block, or lathe and scratch coat. The modular panel format allows rapid coverage. See our full installation guide.

Norstone products can be applied over any prepared masonry or cementitious surface: cement board, concrete block, brick, or lathe & scratch coat. Do not install over drywall or sheetrock. Painted surfaces must be sandblasted before installation.

Yes. All Norstone products are suitable for both interior and exterior applications. Basalt products are frost resistant. For products containing lavastone in freeze-thaw regions, please consult us first.

Most Norstone products including basalt and quartz-based products can be used in and around pools and wet areas. Always use appropriate waterproofing and sealer. Contact us for guidance on your specific application.

Yes. Sealing is recommended for all Norstone products using a water-based penetrating natural stone sealer. Always test on a sample piece first. Do not use acid-based cleaners on Norstone products.

Most competent home handymen with tiling experience can install Norstone Rock Panels and AKSENT 3D. The modular format greatly simplifies installation. See our installation guide and hassle-free installation pages for full details.

XL Rockpanels are a supersized version of the standard Rock Panel, with individual stone sizes approximately twice as large. They feature a unique interlocking edge profile and are ideal for large-scale projects where a more substantial stone format better fits the scale of the installation.

Product weight varies by range and is an important factor when planning your installation. PLANC is approximately 58kg/m², AKSENT 3D is approximately 13–15kg/m², LYNIA is approximately 31.5kg/m², XL Rockpanels is approximately 55kg/m², and MONAROSTONE is approximately 60kg/m². Each range is installed using polymer-modified thinset directly onto a wall substrate rated to carry that product's weight, without requiring a separate footing of its own — check the technical specification on the relevant product page for exact figures before installation.

Samples can be ordered directly from our online sample shop for $15 per sample (150×150mm). Samples are shipped via Australia Post, typically arriving within 3–5 business days.

Yes. All Norstone products are 100% natural stone — an inert, recyclable material. Our manufacturing facilities operate sustainable quarrying practices, use recycled water, and use recycled packaging wherever possible.
